ZoomAir 4100 Wireless PC Card NIC with Integrated Antenna

The ZoomAir PC Card clients provide fast, flexible networking connections to industrystandard 802.11b wireless networks.

The Model 4100 provides unmatched ease of installation. Simply run the installation wizard software and insert the card into the PC Card slot of a laptop computer.

The rugged Model 4100 is designed for frequent travel, with the antenna encased in the shell of the PC Card.

ZoomAir PC Card NICS are compatible with 3.3 and 5 volt PC Card slots. Zoom's design protects the cards against power surges which can damage competing products supporting only 3.3 Volt operation.

ZoomAir wireless cards use an advanced radio design to provide superior range and data speeds in a wide range of installations. The maximum indoor range with the standard antennas is typically 300 feet. The data rate is up to 11 Mbps, which provides the speed needed for network applications like high-speed Internet sharing, printer sharing, multi-player gaming and file exchanges.

ZoomAir wireless clients provide the highest level of security specified by the 802.11b wireless standard, with up to 128 bit Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP).

ZoomAir wireless clients come with SmartConnect software. SmartConnect delivers on the promise of easy wireless mobility by simplifying the configuration process required when a network user connects to a wireless LAN away from home. In addition, SmartConnect provides an easy-to-use management interface to onitor and optimize network connections.SmartConnect is compatible with Windows 98, 2000, Me and XP.
